About the Vik Campsite on the South Coast of Iceland
Location of Vik Campsite
The Vik Campsite is located just one kilometer (0.6 mile) from the center of the village of Vik. You can choose to camp in a tent or a cabin, or a car or campervan.
When is the Vik Campsite open?
Open from mid-May until the end of November, the Vik Campsite is just a 15-minute drive from Reynisfjara Beach.
How large is the Vik Campsite in Iceland?
The Vik Campsite can accommodate up to 250 campers at a time and is one of the largest campgrounds in Iceland.
Amenities at Vik Campsite
You’ll have access to a range of amenities at the Vik Campsite, from electricity to hot and cold running water, toilets, showers, dining facilities, waste disposal, and wifi. Laundry facilities are also available.
There are four cottages on the campsite and they can be booked in advance. Each cottage has a bed for two people.
